Visiting Scholars

We are glad that you are interested in coming to MSU as a visiting scholar. In order to be hosted as a visiting scholar, you must first receive an invitation from an MSU department. After you have been invited to MSU, our office will work directly with your host department to issue a DS-2019 to you so that you may apply for a J-1 visa at a U.S. Consulate.

If you have questions about a pending application for a DS-2019, contact your host department.
