There are more than 900 Registered Student Organizations at MSU. There are many with an international focus, like the International Students Association (ISA), as well as other student clubs and groups that may interest you.
Involve@State is Michigan State University's Engagement Portal for students, staff, faculty, registered student organizations, major governing organizations, and University departments. The goal of Involve@State is two-fold; 1) To connect you, the student, to become engaged in co-curricular and educational opportunities; and 2) To be utilized by RSOs to manage operational functions such as roster and officer reporting, annual registration, event requests and more!
Other than utilizing the list available above, you may also search for Registered Student Organizations that are categorized as "International." Click here to be redirected to the list.
NSO Resources and Involvement Fairs will be presented in both synchronous and asynchronous formats:
You can RSVP for all events on Involve@State.
Planning for Sparticipation has begun! The Department of Student Life is in the early stages and so there is very little we can confirm. However, we are considering all combinations of options. Due to the COVID19 Pandemic Student Life will not be making any final decision until closer to July. More information will be posted during the summer.
The Office for International Students & Scholars have created a Sparticipation 101 Guide for International Students, providing international students a list of international student organizations that were present at Sparticipation 2020.
MSU encourages international student organizations to share their culture as a way to contribute to the internationalization of MSU and the community of Greater Lansing. To support international student programming on campus, international student groups can apply for funding to support their programs.
