International Student Organizations

There are more than 900 Registered Student Organizations at MSU. There are many with an international focus, like the International Students Association (ISA), as well as other student clubs and groups that may interest you.

Involve@State is Michigan State University's Engagement Portal for students, staff, faculty, registered student organizations, major governing organizations, and University departments. The goal of Involve@State is to connect you, the student, to become engaged in co-curricular and educational opportunities. This site will also be used by registered student organizations to register or re-register with the University and request event space.

Engage with hundreds of student organizations and campus resources all while getting accustomed to the new platform that is the center for student engagement at Michigan State University!


  • Log into Involve@State,, and sign in using your MSU NetID and password.
  • Find the Springticipation Fair event and click “I will be attending”.

On the day of the event  

  • Log into Involve@State,, and sign in using your MSU NetID and password.
  • Select the Springticipation Fair calendar event and follow the link through to the online fair

To prepare for the event or to answer any questions you may have, the Department of Student Life is hosting a learning event to help you log on and navigate, at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 19. You can join the event at with Password RSOsRock. 

They’ll also be offering up some best practices in navigating the event and some “best questions” to ask student organizations as you explore ways to get involved! Details can be found on Involve@State in the “How to Navigate Springticipation 2021” calendar event.

The Office for International Students & Scholars have created a Sparticipation 101 Guide for International Students, providing international students a list of international student organizations that will be present at Sparticipation 2020. 

Funding for International Student Groups

MSU encourages international student organizations to share their culture as a way to contribute to the internationalization of MSU and the community of Greater Lansing. To support international student programming on campus, international student groups can apply for funding to support their programs.
