OISS uses eShipGlobal to send immigration documents worldwide by FedEx, DHL, and UPS. eShipGlobal is offered by University Express Mail Service (UEMS) and provides a simple way for you to create an account, choose your preferred shipping company, pay for shipping and track your package. 

eShip Global Instructions through MyOISS

*If you would like your immigration document sent via DHL/FedEx/UPS at YOUR expense you will need to do the following (DO NOT go through the DHL, FedEx or UPS website directly): 

To have your I-20/DS-2019 mailed, follow the instructions for express/courier mailing:

1.   Go to MyOISS ( and click on the blue login button under “Full Client Services for Students & Scholars”.

2.  Login using your MSU NetID and password.

3.  Click on the eShipGlobal menu item on the left portion of the webpage.

4.  Click on the “Purchase Shipping Label” link.

5.  Select the email address you want to use to receive your receipt.  Your MSU email address is default, but you may enter a different email address by selecting the “Enter different email address” option on the “Purchase Shipping Label” page.

6.  Check the checkbox and press submit to proceed to eShipGlobal.

7.  If you already have an eShipGlobal account with the email address chosen on the previous page, enter your eShipGlobal password.  If you do not have an account, complete the eShipGlobal registration.  Registration of your account is free.

8.   Click the “Receive Document from University” option.

9.   Complete the shipping form, Student ID number (MSU Personal ID Number beginning with the letter “A”, and select "Continue”.

NOTE: P.O. Box addresses are generally not preferred by express carriers. If entering a P.O. Box address, be sure you provide the complete physical address where the P.O. Box is located in order to avoid delays.

10.   On the “Carrier Selection, Cost, and Transit Time” page, select a carrier.

11.  On the “Payment Confirmation” page, review your shipment information.

12.  Click on “Pay Now” and complete the credit card information form.

13.  Michigan State University – Office for INTL Students & Scholars will automatically be notified by University Express Mail Services (eShipGlobal) that you have requested your documents via express mail. You can track the shipment using the tracking number provided.

14. Receive your documents within 3-7 business days from the date of mailing (this may be delayed due to inclement weather). 

Please pay close attention to the information submitted, as errors in the credit card information or submitting incorrect or incomplete address information will result in a delay in the mailing of your I-20.
