Who can participate?

All exhibits and performances must focus on global cultural exchange. Sign up individually, with friends, or through your Registered Student Organizations.

How do I sign up?

1. Sign Up to Host a Cultural Exhibit Booth: Share your culture through a table display, interactive activity, or demonstration including artifacts, crafts, or other cultural items.

2. Sign Up to Perform on Stage: Share your culture through music (instrumental or vocal), dance, poetry, or other live performance. 

Note: There are separate sign-up forms for exhibits and performances. If you want to participate in both, you must complete both forms.  

OISS is in need of volunteers to help with Global Festival! 

We are looking for volunteers to help on two different days: Friday, November 13th (day before event) and Sunday, November 15th (day of event).

Support the festival by helping with the Global Gift Shop, assisting with event set-up, welcoming guests, providing directions, or helping with clean-up. Volunteers must create a free GiveGab account before signing up.

Do I need to register? 

No! Registration is not required to attend and everyone is welcome!

Is there a cost?

No! Global Festival is free.

What should I expect? 

All four floors of the International Center will be bursting with fun events and activities that'll transport you to every corner of the world. From vibrant performances, to interactive exhibits, a gift shop full of one-of-a-kind souvenirs and so much more!

Will there be food/is the food court open?

No! Food will not be provided at this event and the food court is closed on the weekend. Please plan accordingly. 

Where is this event located?

The International Center is located at 427 N Shaw Ln, East Lansing, MI 48824. 

Where should I park? 

Closest parking to the International Center are lots 39, 40 and 50. Parking is free on Saturday. See photo below.
