The Programming, Communications, and Outreach team at OISS promotes the understanding of the experiences of international students and scholars on our campus and in our community. We also provide guidance and information to international students and scholars about our campus and community to help students and scholars adjust to life at MSU. 

We do this through:

• service on campus and community working groups and committees
• interviews with journalists
• press releases
• social media
• blogging
• videography and photography
• outreach to specific student and scholar populations
• monthly e-newsletters to MSU advisors and department administrators
• weekly emails to all international students and scholars
