How to use your Aetna Insurance

How to read your bill

After you have healthcare service, the insurance company will send you a form called Explanation of Benefits (EOB). EOB is not a medical bill. The purpose of EOB is to tell you what portion of a claim was paid to the health care provider by the insurance company and what portion of the payment, if any, you are responsible for. If you have questions concerning your EOB, please contact the toll-free number on your Aetna insurance card.
