Explore Entrepreneurship: OISS announces a first of its kind event

Posted By: OISS    Published: Wednesday, 01 Feb 2012

On Friday, February 24th, the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) will partner with campus and community professionals for a "first of its kind" event for MSU international students:

Exploring Entrepreneurship: International Student Forum – An Introduction to Issues, Opportunities & Resources.

This event has been organized to capture the excitement that comes from hopeful innovation while also providing international students with the tools to feel confident that they, too, can be successful entrepreneurs and understand how to do so with their current immigration status.

With the MSU Entrepreneurship Network (MSU eNet) and the emergence of coursework dedicated to entrepreneurship on-campus, coupled with the off-campus presence of the Downtown East Lansing Entrepreneurship Program and business incubators like the NEO Center and the Hatch, there is no better time to engage with the bright minds who want to be a part of this trend.

Students can receive free legal counsel from the law firm of Foster Swift as well as the Small Business and Nonprofit Law Clinic through the MSU College of Law.

Students can also meet with professionals from local business incubators, and also learn more about MSU eNet.

Registration is required. For complete details, please go to the following link:
