Orientation and Programming Graduate Student Internship
The Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) seeks applications for an Orientation and Programming Graduate Student Intern who will assist the Educational Programs Manager in the coordination of International Student Orientations and with other programs throughout the year.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with coordinating fall and spring orientations for new international undergraduate and graduate students
• Assist with recruiting, training, and managing orientation leaders as well as Global Festival volunteers and performers
• Keep international Registered Student Organization information updated 
• Assist with managing culture sharing event funding applications
• Assist with hosting dinners for Registered Student Organization
• Assist with the office reception area as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: 
• Graduate student status 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Experience working with diverse and/or international populations preferred
• Interest in the field of international education preferred

Commitment:
• Must be available all summer (especially the month of August) as well as fall and spring semesters
• 15-29 hours per week - summer semester
• 9-15 hours per week - fall and spring semester
• Some evening and weekend work is required

Compensation: 
• MSU Graduate Student Hourly Pay
