Networking for International Students Thursday, April 17th

Posted By: OISS    Published: Wednesday, 02 Apr 2014

Did you miss it? OISS held a dinner in Brody at the end of February where international students learned how to improve their image as a candidate for a job or internship. This included such things as developing your "elevator speech", how to network as an international student, how to talk to employers about your immigration status, and how to make "small talk". It also included tips for managing your image online.

What do you do when you are in a room with people you don't know? How do you overcome your nervousness to talk to new people? This event can help you!

Join OISS and MSU Career Services Network on Thursday, April 17th from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Room 303 of the International Center. RSVP is required to register:  http://oiss.isp.msu.edu/events/46051/networking-for-international-students/  Lunch will be provided!
