International Student Health Insurance Waiver Help Session for Spring 2013

When: Tuesday, February 5th, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Where: Wells Hall, Room B110-H (Computer Lab)
Who: For any International Student

What do you need to bring to complete the waiver?

  • A copy of your alternative health insurance card or insurance enrollment certificate
  • A copy of the insurance policy’s “summary of benefits” information.
  • You need to provide these documents before the waiver request can be approved.
  • Student Health Insurance Representatives from the Human Resources Benefits Office will be available to answer questions regarding student health insurance and the waiver process.
  • Waiver application deadline: February 15th.

Free Legal Advice for Small Business Startups

Attention MSU International Students:

Are you thinking of starting your own business? Did you already start a business and want help managing legal requirements? Get legal assistance for FREE from the MSU College of Law’s Small Business and Nonprofit Law Clinic!

Clinicians will be available to meet with you during OISS Walk-In Advising Hours at the International Center between 1pm and 3pm on January 30th, February 6th, and February 17th (three sessions only).

If you establish a relationship with the Small Business and Nonprofit Law Clinic at the walk-in advising hours, your service fees will be waived! While filing fees may be due to the state or federal government depending on the type of transaction(s) you need, you will still get the legal advice on how to properly complete that transaction absolutely free of charge.
