Come and learn more about the Global Lansing "Getting Started" Fellowship Program that will benefit both international students and our local community on Tuesday, November 13th from 3-4 p.m. in Room 303 of the International Center. 

The Global Lansing “Getting Started” Fellowship Program is an innovative first-of-its-kind initiative that will match international students in Greater Lansing to internships and mentorships with area businesses and entrepreneurs beginning in January 2013.

The launch of the “Getting Started” Fellowship Program will be the cornerstone of the Global Lansing initiative. Global Lansing’s focus will be to educate and empower the Greater Lansing community on how to further connect, support and learn from the vast number international students, scholars, business-owners and residents in the Lansing region.

The Global Lansing team will conduct interviews and choose students to take part in the Fellowship Program. Selected students will be matched up with participating organizations based on their interest, qualifications and academic experience.  
The fellowship requirements include:
Participation in a paid or non-paid internship from January to May of 2013. 
Receiving proper work authorization from OISS.
