Volunteer and Intern @ OISS

OISS is always looking for volunteers and interns to help us make our programs successful. Especially in the summer months as new students are arriving, we depend on enthusiastic, hardworking, friendly volunteers from across campus and the East Lansing community to help in different ways.

Volunteering with OISS provides a number of opportunities, including:

  • practicing your English language skills with other volunteers
  • building friendships with different groups and practicing intercultural communication skills
  • learning how an international student office runs and the work that goes into large-scale programs like Orientation or the annual MSU Global Festival
  • giving back to MSU by helping international students, as you have been helped in your time here

Are you interested in volunteering with OISS? Contact advisor Joy Shantz at joyks(at)msu.edu to find out about open opportunities today!
